The Lyons return to action on January 21st when they travel to Weyers Cave, Va., to compete in the Winter I Tournament of Champions event, which is the third leg of the 2016-17 Tournament of Champions series.
Mount Holyoke (1-3) returns to action on Thursday when it hosts Clark and Wheaton for tri-match action beginning at 1pm. The Lyons close out the week with a meet at Trinity College against the homestanding Bantams and Vassar College. Start time is 1pm.
The Lyons were back in action last week, shouldering tough losses to Williams and Bowdoin. Sophomore Ragini Ghose (Dubai) put forth one of the strongest efforts against Haley Parsons, winning the opening game. She was unable to hold off the Ephs' number two, falling 3-1. Mount Holyoke (2-8) returns to action on Monday when it travels to Amherst for a 12pm neutral site match against Yale. The Lyons close out the week on the road, heading to New Haven (Yale University) to face St. Lawrence (2pm) and Connecticut College (3:30pm).
Mount Holyoke fell in NEWMAC action to Smith and Babson last week. Senior captain Xajaah Williams-Flores (The Bronx, N.Y.) led the way against the Pioneers in the first game back, notching 13 points. The Lyons (2-9; 0-5 NEWMAC) are back on the court on Tuesday when they travel to Wellesley for a 7pm tilt. MHC then hosts WPI on Thursday at 7pm, before traveling to Wheaton on Saturday for a 1pm contest.
