Leading the way was junior Brandy Williamson (New York, N.Y.), who fought for a 3-2 victory from the first position. Mount Holyoke (2-11) returns to action on next weekend when it returns home to host matches in the Pioneer Valley Invitational. The Lyons will take on Colby College at the MHC Courts on Saturday at 9am, followed by a match against Wesleyan at 12pm.

Mount Holyoke shouldered losses to Wellesley, WPI and Wheaton in NEWMAC play last week. Senior captain Xajaah Williams-Flores (The Bronx, N.Y.) posted a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds in Thursday's action against the Engineers. The Lyons (2-12; 0-8 NEWMAC) are back on the court this evening when they travel to Plymouth State for a 6pm contest. MHC  returns home on Saturday, hosting Babson at 1pm.
