Mount Holyoke returned to the pool last week for the final time, competing at the 2018 NEWMAC Championships, hosted by MIT. The Lyons saw a number of solid efforts on the weekend, including sophomore Samantha Nemivant (Scottsdale, Ariz.), who placed seventh and ninth in the 1 and 3-meter diving events, respectively. As a team, the Lyons concluded their season, but Nemivant will compete once more this weekend at the 2018 NCAA Northeast Diving Regionals, hosted by Middlebury College. Action begins on Friday and runs through Saturday as the region's top divers look to qualify for Nationals.

Mount Holyoke, which posted an 8-14 record on the season, will now see senior captain Brandy Williamson (New York, N.Y.) in action this week at the CSA Individual Nationals, hosted at George Washington University. Action begins on Friday as Williamson hits the court at 12:20pm, and runs through Sunday.

Mount Holyoke saw sophomore Charleen Theroux (Coventry, R.I.) compete in the Pentathlon at the Maine State Open. Her top finish in the five-event competition came in the long jump as she posted 5.13 meters to take the win. Overall, she finished second in the Pentathlon, besting her own school record with 3,175 points. The Lyons are now idle until March 24th when they open their outdoor schedule at the Wesleyan Invitational.

The Lyons powered their way to third overall at the 2018 Seven Sisters Championship last weekend. MHC posted wins over Bryn Mawr (4-1) and Smith (4-1), aided by the play of Seven Sisters All-Tournament selections senior Clara Wang (Madison, Conn.) and sophomore Catherine Peabody (San Francisco, Calif.).
