Riding Takes Tournament of Champions Crown With Dominant Performance at Winter Classic January 28, 2012 Mount Holyoke took home top honors at the prestigious Tournament of Champions Winter Classic today at Hazelwind Farm. As a result of their performance at the event, the Lyons also secured first place in the final Tournament of Champions standings for the season. Riding Closes Out Fall Slate With High Point Title at Second Home Show November 19, 2011 With sophomore Flynn Vickowski leading the way, Mount Holyoke closed out the fall portion of its 2011-12 slate with a first place performance in front of its home crowd today. Riding Earns Reserve Championship at Amherst Show November 12, 2011 Mount Holyoke finished as Reserve Champions at the Amherst Horse Show today. A total of six teams from around the region participated in the event, which took place at Biscuit Hill Farm. UMass grabbed top honors with a score of 43 points. The Lyons were next with 39.

Rider Elizabeth Tripp Collects Lyon of the Week Accolades

Elizabeth Tripp has earned the Lyon of the Week award for the week of February 21-27 after leading the riding team to a Reserve High Point Championship at the UMass Horse Show on Saturday. The senior finished the day as the High Point Rider for the first time in career. In addition to posting a first place finish in her section of the open fences division, Tripp also grabbed top honors in her class of the open flat division. By doing so, she qualified for the Zone 1, Region 3 Regional Championships in the open flat division. As a sophomore, she grabbed eighth place nationally in the intermediate flat division. During her junior season, Tripp was crowned champion of the open fences division at the Zone 1 Championships. She went on to represent the Lyons at the National Championships.
