RIDING

Mount Holyoke is now idle until February 27th when it travels to Hadley to compete in the Co-Hosted Show.

SWIMMING & DIVING

MHC posted victory in its final dual meet of the season, besting Smith by a 157-142 margin on Saturday in Northampton. The Lyons were paced in the meet by a number of outstanding finishes, including a four-win day by senior captain Cathleen Pruden (Raleigh, N.C.). She was the victor in the 200-fly, 100-breast and 500-free, while helping the 400-free relay to the win. Mount Holyoke (8-2 dual) is now idle until February 18th when it heads to Cambridge, Mass., to compete at the 2016 NEWMAC Championships, hosted by MIT. Action at the meet begins on Thursday (2/18) and runs through Sunday (2/21).

BASKETBALL

The Lyons shouldered a pair of NEWMAC losses to Coast Guard and Emerson last week. Mount Holyoke (0-20; 0-12 NEWMAC) is back in action on Wednesday when it travels to Worcester for a 7pm tip-off against Clark University. The Lyons will then close out the week on Saturday, hosting Wellesley College at 1pm at the Mildred S. Howard Gymnasium. Fans can follow all the action this season via live stats and live video at http://athletics.mtholyoke.edu/sports/wbkb/2015-16/schedule.

SQUASH

Mount Holyoke went 2-2 last week, falling to Amherst on Wednesday before going 2-1 at the 2016 Seven Sisters Championship on Saturday. The Lyons picked up a 9-0 win over Smith and a 5-4 win over Vassar (but fell to Wellesley, 9-0) to finish second overall at this year's event. Senior captain Catherine Ryan (Longmeadow, Mass.) and classmate Annie Wong (Oakland, Calif.) were both named to the the All-Seven Sisters Team for their 2-1 efforts on the day.

The Lyons (6-15) returns to action on February 19 when it travels to Yale University to compete in the 2016 CSA National Team Championships. Action runs through Sunday, February 21.

TRACK & FIELD

MHC competed at the non-team scoring Wesleyan Invitational last weekend, but was paced by several first place finishes, including senior captain Camille Coklow (Chicago, Ill.) who won the 60-meter dash. Mount Holyoke is right back in action this weekend when it heads to Cambridge, Mass., on Saturday to compete at the MIT Invitational.
