THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke welcomes Tufts University on Tuesday for the 23rd all-time meeting. The series, which began in 1991-92 with a 9-0 Jumbos victory, has seen Tufts post a 14-8 all-time edge. MHC has seen the most recent success, going 5-1 in the last six contests.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (2-5) enters the match following a pair of 7-2 losses to Wesleyan and Hamilton on November 19th. Sophomore Ragini Ghose paced the effort, winning both of her matches from the second position to improve to 5-1 on the year.

THE JUMBOS: Tufts (2-0) jumps back into action following a 5-4 win over Colby on November 19. Through two matches, first year Catherine Shanahan and sophomores Sahana Karthik and Sinclair Meggitt are a perfect 2-0.

NEXT UP: Following today's match, Mount Holyoke is idle until Friday, January 6 when they face off against Williams (12pm) and Bowdoin (2pm) in Williamstown, Mass. Tufts is back in action on Saturday facing Hamilton (2pm) and St. Lawrence (4pm) in Clinton, N.Y.
