THE MATCHUP: Mount Holyoke concludes its four-game homestand on Wednesday, welcoming the Sharks of Simmons College. The match marks the 20th all-time game in the series, which began in 1996 - a 1-0 Simmons win. The Lyons own the edge in the series by an 14-5 margin, including each of the last eight games.

THE LYONS: Mount Holyoke (6-4; 3-1 NEWMAC) enters Wednesday's action following a 2-1 victory over Springfield in conference play last weekend. In that match, the Lyons saw junior midfielder Kathryn Rawson tip-in the game-winning goal with 1:01 to play.

THE SHARKS: Simmons (7-5; 3-1 NEWMAC) is coming off a 3-0 loss to Saint Joseph's (ME) in GNAC action last Saturday. Senior goalie Brianna Rastello shouldered the defeat, not making any saves, while the Sharks recorded a defensive stop.

NEXT UP: Mount Holyoke is back in action on Saturday at 12pm in a critical NEWMAC match at Babson. Simmons is also on the field on Saturday, hosting Rivier at 11am.
