SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- Mount Holyoke College placed the maximum six student-athletes on the 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team, announced by College Sports Communicators, including two each from the Lyons field hockey, lacrosse and rowing teams.

Earning Academic All-District honors from Mount Holyoke were lacrosse senior Emi Bisson (Chester, Conn.), field hockey junior Emily Bisson (Manchester, N.H.), rowing senior Katrina Holbrook (St. Paul, Minn.), rowing senior Elsa Kulatunga (Helsingborg, Sweden), lacrosse senior Elle Mader (Cincinnati, Ohio), and field hockey senior Taylor Vettori (Etna, N.H.). It is the second year in a row for both Bisson and Holbrook in winning the honor.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Emi Bisson led Mount Holyoke in points and assists for the fourth year in a row, with a career-high 101 points this season, including a team record 53 assists and a career-high-tying 48 goals, and was named NEWMAC Second Team All-Conference. She was named the NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for the third time in her career in the first week of the season. Her two-goal, 13-assist performance in Mount Holyoke's win at Emerson tied as the fourth-most assists in Division III history. The psychology major and two-year team captain graduated with a 3.76 cumulative grade point average.

Emily Bisson is the lone junior from Mount Holyoke receiving CSC Academic All-District honors this year. Bisson played in 18 games, making 15 starts, and tallied a career-high four goals with one assist. Bisson maintains a GPA over 3.90 while double-majoring in international relations and economics.

Holbrook won her second consecutive Second Team All-NEWMAC honor in her third season as a Lyons rower. She captured the NEWMAC's first Academic Laurel of Excellence honor awarded in rowing at the 2026 NEWMAC Championships. The honor is bestowed upon the student-athlete competing in a NEWMAC Championship with the highest cumulative grade point average. A double major in biological sciences and data science, Holbrook graduated in just three years with a 4.00 GPA.

Kulatunga, a mainstay on the Mount Holyoke rowing team's first varsity eight for the past two years, graduated with a 3.81 GPA and a double-major in classical studies and religion.

Mader, a two-year lacrosse team captain, started all 15 games and achieved career highs in goals (22) and points (25), finishing with 54 goals in her career. The biological sciences major graduated with a 3.81 GPA.

Vettori started on defense for all 72 games of her career with the Mount Holyoke field hockey team, serving as a captain for two seasons. The psychology major graduated with a 3.88 GPA.
