WESTWOOD, Mass. -- Mount Holyoke sophomore goalkeeper Evie Krieg was named Second Team All-Conference on Thursday by the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference, becoming the Lyons' first all-conference pick since 2016.
Krieg (Frisco, Texas) led the NEWMAC in both save percentage (.897) and saves per game (7.91), and was part of a strong Lyons defense that ranked seventh in the conference in goals allowed per game (1.25) while ranking 12th in scoring average (0.56). She was named the NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Week on October 28 after her back-to-back shutouts in a tie at Coast Guard and a win at Clark.
In 2016, Mount Holyoke's Sara Sanau Ruiz made First Team and Zoe Marshall Second Team.
