Track & Field Competes at Open New England Championships

BOSTON, Mass. - Members of the Mount Holyoke College track & field team were in action on Friday evening at the 2015 Open New England Championship, hosted by Boston University.

The Lyons saw two runners take to action on Friday, paced by an ECAC qualifiying performance from senior Dana Fry, who was 21st overall in the 5,000-meter run. She posted a time of 18:30.64 and will compete next weekend at the ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships in New York City.

Also in action was sophomore Brianna Weir, who finished 25th overall in the 1,000-meter run. She achieved a time of 3:15.17.

Several members of the MHC squad will return to action at the NYC Armory next week. The ECAC Indoor Championships will get underway on Friday and run through Saturday.
