Swimming and diving outscores Clark while splitting dual meets at Wheaton

NORTON, Mass. -- The Mount Holyoke College swimming and diving team split its conference double dual meet against Wheaton College and Clark University on Friday at Wheaton.

The Lyons outscored Clark University 133-93 and were outscored by the host Wheaton Lyons 147-80.

"We are in a very difficult time of the season training wise, but our team stepped up and put together some great performances," said head coach Dave Allen.

Top performances from the Lyons included:

  • MHC's A 200-yard medley relay placed third overall, with sophomore Zoey Zhu (Sturbridge, Mass.), senior Noa Sharabi (Richmond, Calif.), sophomore Isabel Dunn (Harbor Springs, Mich.), and senior Kamlyn Yosick (Portland, Ore.).
  • Yosick also placed fourth in the 100- and 50-yard freestyle.
  • Dunn also placed second in the 200-yard individual medley and third in the 100-yard butterfly.
  • First-year Katherine Upton (Cambridge, Mass.) placed second in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.

The Lyons are hosting Simmons University on Saturday at 12pm in the MHC Natatorium.
