SOCCER
Mount Holyoke suffered a pair of losses last week, falling to NEWMAC-rivals WPI (1-0) and MIT (3-0). The Lyons (2-8-1; 1-4-0 NEWMAC) return to the pitch on Wednesday when it hosts Connecticut College for a non-league game at 4:30pm. MHC then welcomes league-rival Wellesley on Saturday at 1pm.

FIELD HOCKEY
The Lyons fell against WPI (1-0) and MIT (2-1) last week in NEWMAC play. Mount Holyoke (5-5; 2-2 NEWMAC) returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Simmons at 5pm. The Lyons then travel to Wellesley for a 12pm game against the Blue.

TENNIS
MHC went 1-1 last week, defeating Clark (6-3) before falling at Wellesley (5-4). First year Margaux Holloschutz (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) and senior My-Linh Nguyen (Potomac, Md.) improved to 5-1 at third doubles with wins in each match. The Lyons (3-3; 2-2 NEWMAC) return to the court on Tuesday when they host Smith at 3pm at the MHC Tennis Courts. Mount Holyoke will then compete in the New England Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament, hosted by Smith, Amherst and MHC from Friday through Sunday.
VOLLEYBALL
The Lyons shouldered a loss at Springfield (3-0) before falling at the Seven Sisters Tournament. First year Emma Sweeting (Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.) and sophomore Stephany Yang (Glen Allen, Va.) were All-Tournament Team selections for Mount Holyoke at the Seven Sisters event. MHC (3-11; 0-5 NEWMAC) returns to the court on Tuesday with a home conference match against Wheaton at 7pm. The Lyons will then travel to Keene, N.H., to face Keene State (12pm) and Plymouth State (2:30pm).
CROSS COUNTRY
Mount Holyoke finished 12th of 43 teams at last Saturday’s James Earley Invitational, hosted by Westfield State. The Lyons were led by first year Elizabeth DeLeon (Boise, Idaho), who finished 52nd of 453 runners in the 6k event. MHC is back in action on Saturday at Wellesley for the Seven Sisters Championship. Action begins at 10am.
GOLF
The Lyons finished 10th of 14 teams at the Williams Fall Classic last weekend. Sophomore Madi Mendiola (San Diego, Calif.) paced MHC in the event, shooting a combined 164 to finish eighth overall. Mount Holyoke wraps-up its fall season this weekend when it competes at the Wellesley College Fall Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
RIDING
Fresh off their season-opening victory at the Preseason Tournament of Champions, the riding team claimed victory at the Smith College Horse Show on Saturday. The Lyons won high point college honors in addition to a number of individual titles, including first year Genevieve Couldwell (Salt Lake City, Utah), who was the overall high point rider and novice high point rider for the meet. The Lyons return to action this weekend when they host the Mount Holyoke Horse Show at the Equestrian Center on Saturday. Action begins at 10am.
CREW
The Lyons were idle last week, but are back on the water on Saturday when they compete at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. The action begins at 10am.
