SOCCER
Mount Holyoke suffered losst to Clark (2-1) and Springfield (4-2) last week. Sophomore Hannah Yee (Amherst, Mass.) paced the offense with a goal and two assists. MHC (2-11-2; 1-7-0 NEWMAC) is back in action on Wednesday with a non-conference game at MCLA at 3:30pm. The Lyons then wrap-up their regular season and NEWMAC schedule on Saturday, hosting Babson at 1pm on Senior Day at the MHC Soccer Field.

FIELD HOCKEY
The Lyons fell against Clark (3-2) and Springfield (3-2 in OT) last week. MHC was led offensively by sophomore Kirsten Kilburn (North Branford, Conn.), who had three goals and an assist, including two in the overtime loss to the Pride. Mount Holyoke (6-8; 2-5 NEWMAC) returns to the field on Tuesday with a 7pm game at Westfield State. The Lyons then close out their 2012 regular season schedule at Babson on Saturday at 1pm.

TENNIS
MHC defeated Springfield (7-2), but fell against Babson (8-1) to wrap-up its regular season for the fall. The Lyons, who finished third in the final NEWMAC standings, return to the court on Wednesday at Wheaton in the NEWMAC Quarterfinals in Norton, Mass. Match time is set for 3pm for Mount Holyoke (5-4; 4-3 NEWMAC), who are the fifth-seed in this year's tournament.
VOLLEYBALL
The Lyons played a busy schedule last week, competing in four matches, including three during play of the 2012 Volleyball Hall of Fame Tournament. Mount Holoyke fell against Colby (3-1), Bridgewater State (3-0) and Westfield State (3-1) in the tournament, which saw junior Martina Kneifel (Oro Valley, Ariz.) named to the All-Tournament Team. MHC (3-18; 0-7 NEWMAC) is back on the court on Tuesday, hosting Smith at 7pm in the Game of the Week at Mildred S. Howard Gymnasium. The Lyons then conclude their regular season schedule on Saturday, hosting MIT at 1pm.
CROSS COUNTRY
Mount Holyoke was idle last week, but hits the course once again on Saturday at the NEWMAC Championship, hosted by Smith at 11am.
RIDING
The Equestrian team made it four in a row last weekend, claiming victory yet again, this time at the UMass Horse Show. The Lyons had several outstanding efforts, including junior Ella Pittman (Medfield, Mass.), who won both overall high point rider and high point intermediate rider. Mount Holyoke is now idle until November 3rd when it competes at the Amherst Horse Show at 10am.
CREW
The Lyons were back in the water last week at the historic Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Mass. Mount Holyoke put forth an outstanding effort in the 48th annual event as the varsity eight boat finished 19th of 26 teams in the Collegiate Eights Race. MHC's varsity four boat, which competed on Saturday, was 28th overall. The Lyons are back in action on Saturday when they head back to the Charles River in Boston for the 2012 Seven Sisters Championship, hosted by Simmons College. Action gets underway at 10am.
