SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Sept. 5, 2012) - The Mount Holyoke College
Athletics Department celebrated the start of the 2012-13 season on
Wednesday evening as student-athletes,
coaches and staff converged on the front lawn of the Kendall
Sports & Dance Complex for a welcome back BBQ!
In addition to enjoying burgers, hot dogs, pasta and watermelon, those in attendance were treated to a special surprise as the Lyons Crew team unveiled its new 4-oared shell. In honor of Mount Holyoke Athletic Director, Laurie Priest, the boat was named in her honor and christened at the event in front of the entire department.
