Crew Releases 2009-10 Fall Slate
SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (Aug. 13, 2009) - The Mount Holyoke College crew team recently released the fall segment of its 2009-10 schedule. Nineteenth year head coach Jeanne Friedman has lined up four competitions for the Lyons. Her squad will get their season underway at the Head of the Riverfront Regatta on Sunday, October 4.
After taking part in the Head of the Housatonic Regatta on Saturday, October 10, Mount Holyoke will particpate in the Head of the Charles Regatta on the weekend of Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18.
The Lyons will wrap up their fall slate at the Seven Sisters Championship on Saturday, October 24. They have captured top honors at the event two times in a row (2005, 2008). This year's championship will be hosted by Wellesley College on the Charles River.
