Mary Ellen Clark is in her seventh season as head diving
coach at Mount Holyoke College. Prior to joining the Lyons staff in
2004, she was a member of the United States National Diving team
for ten years. During that time, she captured seven National
Championships and a pair of Olympic bronze medals (1992, 1996). In
1996, Clark was voted one of the top 10 women athletes in the
country by the United States Olympic Committee.
In addition to coaching future Olympic diving champions, Clark also serves as a motivational speaker. She is a Certified National Strength and Conditioning Association Personal Fitness Trainer. Clark is a member of the Women’s Sports Foundation Board of Trustees and an athlete representative for the World Olympians Association.
She owns a Bachelor of Science Degree in health and physical education from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education from Ohio State University.
