SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- First-year head coach Elizabeth Morrison is excited to announce the Mount Holyoke lacrosse team's upcoming 2026 schedule.
"I'm excited for my first season as the head coach of the Mount Holyoke Lacrosse program," said Morrison. "The team is extremely motivated to build on their success from last year. We have a lot of returning talent as well and a great group of first-years who are eager to make an impact."
Mount Holyoke officially opens play with a non-conference game at Elms College on Saturday Feb. 25 (EDIT: the game has been relocated to Mount Holyoke), and continues with non-league home games against UMaine-Farmington on March 1, against Suffolk University on March 4, and against Gordon College on March 9.
The Lyons will open NEWMAC play on Saturday, March 14 at 1pm at Smith College. They will then travel to SUNY Old Westbury on March 17 for their final non-league game before finishing the campaign with nine NEWMAC games. Coast Guard is Mount Holyoke's first NEWMAC opponent at home on Saturday, March 21 at 12pm. Senior Day will be celebrated on April 4 in Mount Holyoke's home game against Wheaton.
"The NEWMAC is a competitive conference that will test our ability against some top 20 teams," said Morrison. "I think our out of conference schedule will help us prepare for those challenges later in the season."
The team is also planning an alum game for Saturday, April 11.
Mount Holyoke finished 4-12 overall and 2-8 in NEWMAC play in 2025.
