Emi Bisson captures NEWMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- Mount Holyoke senior Emi Bisson was named NEWMAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on March 2, 2026, after she led the Lyons to a 2-0 week with 18 points.

Bisson (Chester, Conn.) had five goals and five assists in Mount Holyoke's season-opening win over Elms on Wednesday, then followed with five goals and three assists in MHC's victory over UMaine-Farmington on Sunday. Bisson tallied her 200th career point on Sunday and now ranks sixth all-time with 207 points in 49 games for the Lyons.

This is Bisson's third time in three seasons winning the NEWMAC OPOTW honor: she also won it on March 24, 2025, and on April 22, 2024.

MHC is 2-0 for the first time since 2020, and will host Suffolk University on Wednesday at 6pm.
