SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. -- The Mount Holyoke track and field program qualified the maximum six student-athletes for CSC Track & Field Academic All-District honors, announced Tuesday by College Sports Communicators.
Earning the honors were senior Katie Earle (East Kingston, N.H.), junior Zivaishe Jaravaza (Harare, Zimbabwe), senior Kiera McLaughlin (Keene, N.H.), senior Elle Rimando (Mililani, Hawaii), senior Em Tetzlaff (Bath, Maine), and senior Sarah West (Concord, N.H.).
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. Criteria for the award are listed below.
Earle graduated in May with a degree in environmental studies and a cumulative grade point average of 3.54. Her time of 39:58.31 in the 10,000 meters ranked 35th in the Mideast Region.
Jaravaza, a rising senior majoring in international relations and economics, carries a 3.60 grade point average. She ranked 19th in the Mideast Region in the heptathlon, with 2,594 points.
McLaughlin graduated in May with a 3.88 GPA in politics. She ranked 48th in the Mideast Region in the indoor weight throw (11.16 meters) and 49th in the region in the hammer throw (32.87 meters).
Rimando graduated in May with a 3.80 GPA in architectural studies. Rimando ranked third in the Mideast Region in the indoor triple jump (11.54 meters), 12th in the indoor long jump (5.27 meters), 11th in the outdoor triple jump (11.36) and 14th in the outdoor long jump (5.41). A 2025 NCAA Championship competitor, Rimando received Mount Holyoke's Class of 2026 Laurie Priest Scholar-Athlete Award.
Tetzlaff graduated in May with a 3.70 GPA in architectural studies. Tetzlaff ranked 41st regionally in the weight throw (11.46 meters) and 48th in the hammer throw (33.30 meters).
West, a double-major in politics and French, graduated in May with a 3.97 GPA. She ranked 34th in the Mideast Region in the 10,000 meters with a time of 39:51.51.
Academic Eligibility Criteria
Academic eligibility minimums for the award are: An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
A graduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as both an undergraduate and a grad student unless they are in their first semester as a graduate student and don't have an established graduate GPA. The cumulative grade point average may not be rounded up to 3.50.
Athletic Eligibility Criteria
Eligible nominees will be based off TFRRS regional performance rankings at the time of nomination. Note: Only individual ranked performances are to be used for eligibility. If a student-athlete has participated in a RELAY EVENT, that can bolster the nomination but the basic criteria to be met is for INDIVIDUAL performances. Relays cannot be the basis for eligibility.
Cross Country - Top-50 individual performance at the 2024 NCAA regional competition
Track - Top-50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor)
